My brother

Ok my last few post have been mostly about my dog, me, my dad, however I have yet to mention my brother or my mom. My brother is an English wiz I mean he should have been the writer not me. See my brother was able to read things like harry potter by age 6 and his English was fantastic and he was fairly good at reading. He read Lord of the Rings at age 9 and he was going to be the family prodigy, he was a fantastic student. However when he went to high school things went backwards.

Only now do I realize how backwards things went as I did not see it happening at the time.

I became the student and he became a night life party person. To this day I still do not know what happened however I do not want to say my brother is a very bad person as he is a very kind and smart person and even smart people make mistakes. However and am very proud of him now he is in the never he has a son John Douglas Beason. My brother is married, and he loves his wife I cannot ask of anything more. I am so proud.  Then again you probably are wondering what does this have to do with my book.  Well my brother had some inspiration in making me start writing it.  He sort of made it possible to write my book.  So if you have anything to say let me know in the comments page.

My doubts

I always thought it would be all about my book when I made this blog. Now I realize I cannot always talk about my book after all as it is not published yet who would ever want to read about a book someone has never heard of before. Well I guess I am trying to get ahead of myself by making this blog. I mean I really think I may have done poorly with this particular blog so if you have ideas just let me know your thoughts.

but enough about me I mean really I am not at all that magnificent people always call me an important person but I am not really all that important I mean yea I am at school and I have friends. I just do not see myself becoming a great success. I mean even while writing this book it has taught me that I had to think in a whole new way.

I learn life is full of surprises and I never expected to be going to college or that I would have so many supporters.  However as I am a type of person who never gives himself credit for anything he does I feel I am not the greatest person to judge my blog as I nearly would also grade it as an F for fail because I am always hard on myself well this the truth and I guess I need people to tell me I doing just fine.  Just let me know your thoughts on this subject.

My Dad

Thank you all for staying with me though the process of writing my book. My dad was diagnosed with Stage four Melanoma back in 2006. he passed in 2011 he lived five years with melanoma and during that time he was in the best health he had ever been in, see he was using alternative medicine though this topic is too controversial for my blog ill just say that he survived five years when the doctors told him he had two months. The only reason I mention this is because my father was my hero he was my inspiration, he was who I looked up to.

I lost him back in 2011, however his memories are still there and from time to time they still torture me, but he taught me to look on the bright side of life and not the negative so that is what I am going to do. My father was always trying to find the bright side in his situation.  My dog Kewie was technical my father’s dog.  I can only imagined how much that dog did for my father she was problem one of the many reason he lived so log with melanoma and he loved that dog like he loved me and my brother.  I know I am rambling about my father and my dog and you may think what does this have to do with Legend of the Gods; well to be honest it was because of these to that the story evolved.  If you have any thoughts on this post please place them below.

I little Contest

I thank everyone for their support they have given me. You know I never quite understood blogs or Facebook. I mean yea you can connect with people easy however does it necessarily means that technology is the only way to connect. I mean if I really have to use my blog I guess it could not hurt. I prefer to meet people the old fashion way like walking up to someone and saying hi or giving someone a smile. I mean there are some really nice people out in the world and I feel like I am one but everyone is so secretive that I feel like I am alone in the world.

So I wanted to propose an idea for those of you reading and following me I will ask for storyline ideas for my book and the one I like the most will be included in my book. I wanted to be nice and give people a chance to help write my story and I guess that just the way I am I like people there to help me because I enjoy people. I will of course mention the person who wins the contest in my acknowledgements. Just post your ideas in the comments of this post and I will look at them and see which one I like the most.  I feel this little contest will allow me to meet different people and I hope people will be able to get more involved in the story of Damonra and I hope people will enjoy the story more so just post your suggestions.

A Hint of my life

I want to thank those who continue to support me; maybe it’s time I talk about my dog.  Well I do not know how it’s possible but I happen to think she knows more English then I do.  see over the summer I was visiting her as she is staying with my uncle, I’ll have to say she came by at five o' dark in the morning to wake me up and I told her to give me an hour next thing I knew she came by at 6 o' dark in the morning and woke me up.  I mean what kind of dog can take exactly what I said and then apply it to time I mean really.
Either it was a coincidence, or she can apply English to time and number.  Well if she can understand pure English it would have to come from the fact that my dad had talked to her non-stop and she must have learn to understand all his words I mean really I think if you just kept talking to your dog it would eventually learn what you are saying, or maybe it’s because she is a Border Collie.

Speaking of my dad I figured I would mention that he was my biggest support in my life and as of 6:30 January 2, 2011 he passed because of Melanoma,  well I wanted to mention it eventually.  I have come to realize since then no one lives forever, but your name can live forever by writing.  just leave your comments and i will respond.

who am I?

I may not have described myself in my earlier posts, so I will in this one. I love, caring, and charismatic, I love forest mediation, biking, outdoor activities, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, camping, reading, writing and of course traveling. The list I just made is my favorite things to do and I spend a lot of my time doing these various things. However as a college student I spend a lot of my time doing homework so I have not had the time to work on my book however I do plan to get to it. I have a dog named kewie who is 12 years old and I have a passion for wolves and dragons, figured I would mention this as both will be included in my book.

I wanted people to know more about me so I figured I would motion things about who I am.  It took me awhile to come to my senses about this.  I believe the more people know about me the better I will feel.  I am still new to this blog thing and I still cannot quite get it right but I hope people will not judge my blog too harshly.

I really just want to use it so I can approach my audience as much as possible.  I do know however that one of my many weaknesses is grammar so you may have noticed the poor grammar use in my earlier blog posts so please do not judge it too harshly.  Just tell me your opinion on what I could do, or even tell me what you think, or if you have question I am sure to answer them as best as possible

Authors of Inspiration Kathryn Laskey

Even though I only read her wolves of the beyond series and i am making it a point to read her legend of the guardian series, he book series inspired me to include wolves in my book, and it was because of her that the story of my book has needed to be reorganized and the storyline changed so i deeply thank Kathryn Laskey as your book series wolves of the beyond made me rethink how my own book was going to turn out. he books were by far the most inspirational and i think i am a better writer thanks to her. Even though Christopher Paolini as I mentioned was perhaps one of my favorite authors, I have to say Kathryn Laskey is by far my most inspirational author. Her use of characters and how they interact with one another and how conversation happens in the wolves of the beyond series really moved me as a reader and a writer.

I have to say I recommend her wolves of the beyond series to anyone interested in reading a good young adult book series.  It was really well written.
