Authors of Inspiration Kathryn Laskey

Even though I only read her wolves of the beyond series and i am making it a point to read her legend of the guardian series, he book series inspired me to include wolves in my book, and it was because of her that the story of my book has needed to be reorganized and the storyline changed so i deeply thank Kathryn Laskey as your book series wolves of the beyond made me rethink how my own book was going to turn out. he books were by far the most inspirational and i think i am a better writer thanks to her. Even though Christopher Paolini as I mentioned was perhaps one of my favorite authors, I have to say Kathryn Laskey is by far my most inspirational author. Her use of characters and how they interact with one another and how conversation happens in the wolves of the beyond series really moved me as a reader and a writer.

I have to say I recommend her wolves of the beyond series to anyone interested in reading a good young adult book series.  It was really well written.

An excerpt

I am currently still in the process of writing chapter 3 but here is an excerpt from my book.  Enjoy.

Sirafi was frozen in place and thought “I know we all have beef with Sango but really why do we stoop to his level, we should just ignore him.”

Damonra knowing what Sirafi was thinking came forward and said “that is enough, we are family and as thus we must respect each other and protect each other, Kasanoni you should know better than to force your power onto people, respect and kindness will carry us farther than any blade.”  And turning to talk to Sango “I know not why you dislike us but please we are family, so Sango please try to be pleasant at the dinner tonight.”
Sango bowed his head and said “as you wish my liege.”  There was a bitter mocking in his voice that could not be identified where it originated but had a hint of jealousy and greed.  Sango then left the court yard.  It took a few minutes for everyone in the courtyard to realize that Sango had

Authors of Inspiration Christopher Paolini

I know I mentioned authors who have Inspired me, but I would like to spend the time to explain why, I know I explained some in my reply’s to everyone but I would like to go into more depth here.

Now Christopher Paolini is my greatest inspiration now for those who do not know who he is; he’s a fiction/ fantasy writer who wrote the inheritance cycle, which include Eragon, Eldest, Brisigar, and Inheritance are the names of the individual books Eragon was made into a movie, personally I did not like the movie I preferred the book by far it is way better and I feel they did not do the book justice. Anyhow Christopher Paolini's work inspired me to be more creative with my own book as I had not been creative enough with it; also his creation of the world of Alagaesia is one of the inspirations for my own creation of the Airocaric Kingdom. Though both our worlds are different the creation of the history of the world of Alagaesia made me want to create my own history for my own world.

Christopher Paolini is by far one of my most favorite authors. Mainly because I love dragons, but also because his series was very well written in my opinion

My First Blog post EVER!!!!!!!!

I am an unpublished author, at 21 years of age and still in college.  I have never done a blog before so please forgive me if this is choppy.  I have begun writing a book titled Legend of the Gods.  It will be a trilogy book series.

I shall reference some of the authors that have inspired me and shall include links to their home pages and blogs. My personal all time inspiration is Christopher Paolini. I had read all four of the inheritance books and I think they are important to note.

The other authors who inspired me are

Christopher Paolini http://www.alagaesia.com/.
J.K. Rowling http://www.jkrowling.com/,
Kathryn Laskey http://www.kathrynlasky.com/KK/Home.html,
C.S. Lewis http://cslewis.com/

Eventually I will include links to my authors Facebook, and twitter. I hope everyone enjoys this blog, and I hope everyone will give me advice, their views, and I will include a summary of the First book in my next post so you all will understand my book, I will check my blog weekly. I may start including excerpts from my book only a few, as I wish to keep most of the book secret.
I will take any advice, from anyone. I believe in freedom of choice and I respect everyone. If you so choose you could tell me this blog is the worst, horrrific, terrible, dumbest, most pointless, and needs to be printed out tied to a stake and burned while you cry "burn the blog," just make sure you tell me what to change and I’ll do it.   I will treat everyone fairly and with respect for who you are.  Tell me your views and what I can do to make it better.
“May your soul guide your journey, wherever it shall carry you.”
